Keep On 03:51
Keep On Just when I thought I was over you Well those feelings are back again And it seems like I'm missing you And I don't know if I'm able to Keep on, hold on, it'll be alright Keep on, hold on, hold your head high And when I'm walkin these lonely streets And I'm talkin and its only me And I wonder if I'll make it thru Guess I'm still thinkin of you Keep on, hold on, it'll be alright Keep on, hold on, hold your head up high Sometimes when I'm walkin around I can feel the hurt and pain I know they don't understand, don't know what you're going thru But you got to believe in yourself and keep it all on the inside Keep on, hold on, it'll be alright Keep on, hold on, spread your wings and fly

Open Road 05:14
So I left on the open road I was so much younger back then But I set out on my own Lookin for some place to call my home So I went from town to town I was so much stronger way back then Searchin for something to call my own Never thought I'd see you there Oh oh the Open Road Take me back to my home Oh oh the Open Road Don't leave me all alone So I met many restless souls They were tryin to make it out there on their own Carryin round the same old pain Lookin for something to ease their fear Repeat chrs And I found out long ago The road can leave you wantin more But I'm so much wiser now Well I think I can leave it all behind Repeat chrs

So we sat on evergreen boughs The firelight flickered on the teepee walls And our father spoke as we sat and listened Of how they lived their lives out on the land And the shadows danced to the firelight She began to sing, he began to drum Of how they lived their lives deep in the forest And how they stayed alive and gave us life All the times they spent, only each other All the nights they had, holding each other Now those days are gone forever And as the morning light came, glistened thru the trees We packed our things away travelled on the river Our father led us out, away from the storm Gotta make it home he said before the light goes down Repeat chrs So we sit here all alone All I want is to see them again And I don't know which way I'm goin But I know the'll be in my heart Repeat chrs

Travellin home on a northbound train Rusted rails weavin thru the lowland Dusty roads still look the same Cross the river in an ole man's boat, I'm feelin good As I walk up to my folks home Think I see them in the window My heart aches, I don't know why Took so long to get back, but I'm here now So many fears I left behind So many tears I've yet to cry No matter where I've been or what I've seen Northbound train always takes me home But its hard to leave on the southbound Always hard to ride it down, But I'll ride it down So I took a walk on the main road Past the places I used to know Smiles on faces they're getting old Weathered and worn by the northern winds and its cold 'n' hard So many tears I thought I left behind So many tears I've yet to cry No matter where I've been or what I've seen Northbound train always takes me home But its hard to leave on the southbound Always hard to ride it down, But I'll ride it down As the Fall rains drizzle down on me Tall grass grows where old homes used to be I feel the old haunts all around me Spirits, souls and small-town ghosts

Run Together 03:43
My first thoughts in the morning Is thinking of you Where we've come from and what we've been through I know we shouldn't have made it But our love rang true All of these memories of love we share Keeps me going when you're not there I can't stop thing about you All our tender years We wasted many years And we can't take them back So let's run together You and I forever Don't let go take my hand let me love you I need you by my side So here we are now Nothing to lose Got the whole world before us lets take it on now Before we lose our way We've come so far And I know we're gonna make it Gonna shut the world out Just you and I So let's run together You and I forever you and I forever Lets run together baby just you and I

about

This album is about longing for home, the land, and the people of our small town. We sing about human relationships, love, and life's journey that take us away from home. We sing about the train that eventually takes us back north through muskeg, across rivers, by lakes; eventually home to our parents, grandparents and friends.
